Volunteer: Make A Difference

Each day our program horses must be fed, groomed and exercised. These tasks are carried out on a 100% volunteer basis.. In addition, volunteers assist each week during classes by acting as leaders or side walkers, or by preparing the horses for the riders and getting them tucked away afterwards.
We need
YOUR help! Don't think that you need to be a "horse professional" or even a "kid professional" for that matter. Our Senior Volunteers work closely with new arrivals to be sure that you have the information necessary to make a safe, meaningful contribution to our program. We also have many fun, rewarding non-equine tasks that cannot be accomplished without the dedicated help of people like
YOU! Fundraising, maintenance, special events... the list goes on!
Volunteer Orientation occurs before the Spring and Fall sessions, and throughout the year with more hands-on training and work days. Volunteers must be at least 14 to work with the kids and horses but there are several other great opportunities to serve! Visit the
Resources page, print and complete the Volunteer forms, and mail them to us. A Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch with you for your next steps.
